Event Production Case Study Doers Summit
As part of AAlchemy's presence at Doers Summit, I led the organisation and delivery of the Silent Stage — a dedicated stage experience running within the wider event.
My involvement covered the project from planning through live execution. This included shaping the concept and format, developing the programme, coordinating speakers and participants, managing communications and schedules, aligning the different stakeholders involved, and overseeing the practical requirements needed to bring the stage together on the day.
Unlike organising a standalone event, the Silent Stage had to operate successfully within a much larger summit. This required working within the wider event structure while creating an experience with its own purpose, programme, audience flow and identity.
A significant part of the work was managing the moving pieces behind the scenes: keeping speakers informed, maintaining the programme, responding to changes, coordinating with the wider team and ensuring the stage continued running smoothly throughout the event.
The project brought together strategy, leadership, communication, event production and real-time problem solving — taking an initial concept and turning it into a functioning live experience within one of the region's major entrepreneurship events.
